### Federal or provincial?

This register is the federal one, Corporations Canada. A company incorporated in a province sits in that province's register, and the ca dataset is the federal book.

### What does a Canadian corporation number look like?

A plain number issued when the corporation is formed, without check digits or letter series. It resolves exactly inside the register.

### Does the result include directors?

The search is company level. Directors are a separate endpoint, and the federal register records them for the corporations it holds.
