### What is a UEN?

The Unique Entity Number ACRA issues, the one identifier a Singapore entity carries across the register, filings and dealings with the government. A company profile call asks for exactly it.

### Does the sg search cover LLPs and sole proprietorships?

Yes. ACRA registers local companies, foreign company branches, LLPs and registered business names, and each carries its own UEN in the same register.

### What does the status mean?

Whether the entity is live, struck off or otherwise no longer operating under the register. The profile endpoint adds the dates and detail behind it.
