The company number or other identifier does not match the scheme the register uses.

## Why it happens

Identifiers are checked for the register's format before a lookup runs, so a mistyped number fails early.

## How to fix it

Use the exact number a search result returned, including leading zeros and any country prefix. Do not add separators or strip characters.
