### What is Corpo API?

A company-registry API for AI agents and developers. It reads company data from official registers, normalises it into one company model and serves it over a REST API and a hosted MCP server.

### How does pricing work?

Start with 100 free paid calls once, then pay $0.05 per paid call from prepaid credit. Repeating the same call for the same company on the same UTC day is free, and search, coverage, usage and health are always free. Failed or ambiguous lookups are never billed.

### Do I need a contract to start?

No. Create an API key and make your first call. There is no contract and no monthly minimum, but billing is prepaid and the minimum top-up is $50.

### Which registers do you cover?

We cover 86 jurisdictions across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

### Can I get company officers or directors?

Only where the register publishes a structured officer table: 30 of 86 jurisdictions today. Those officers come with role and appointment dates. Elsewhere the officers endpoint returns HTTP 409 officers_not_available.

### Is there an MCP server for AI agents?

Yes. A hosted MCP server exposes 12 read-only tools: search, coverage, usage, company profile, officers, shareholders, ownership, company links, documents, financials, verify and VAT, with the same key and the same billing.
